The 66th anniversary of the loss at sea of the USS Wahoo (SS 238) is planned at Mare Island, Sunday, October 11, 2009. Join together in an afternoon of memorial programming to honor this boat
built at Mare Island and her 80 man crew. We will honor the 7 submarines built at Mare Island which with their crews are now “on eternal patrol”. Visit www.mareislandlostboats.org for additional information about these vessels and their stories. A book compiled and edited by Larry
